Turn any TV, projector screen, billboard or wall of your FiveM server into a live screen. Players put up images and animated GIFs, play synced YouTube videos, draw together on a shared whiteboard and run PDF presentations page by page. Works with ESX, QBCore, Qbox or standalone, built on ox_lib and ox_target.

Your police briefing room gets a real projector. The nightclub plays music videos on the big screen. The car dealer rotates ads on a billboard. The hospital puts its shift plan on a whiteboard. The mayor runs a PDF presentation at city hall. One resource does all of it, with no MLO edits and no texture work.

• Any surface, not only TVs. Register a prop from the config (TV, monitor, projector screen, cinema screen, billboard, poster) or draw a rectangle on any wall, floor or ceiling of the map, custom MLOs included.

Features

Images and animated GIFs

• Upload PNG, JPEG, DDS and GIF straight from the player's computer, or paste with Ctrl+V.
• Images are resized and compressed before upload, so a 10 MB photo reaches the server under 600 KB.
• Four fit modes with live preview: Auto, Whole, Fill, Stretch. The fit can be changed later without uploading again.
• Images are stored on the server and survive restarts.

Synced YouTube videos

• Paste a YouTube link or video id: everyone near the screen sees the same moment of the video.
• 3D sound that comes from the screen, with per-screen volume and interior detection.
• Only the official YouTube player is used, nothing is downloaded or proxied.
• Players can mute every screen or turn videos off in their personal settings.

Shared whiteboard

• Up to 3 players draw at the same time with pens, colours, undo and backgrounds.
• When the last person leaves, the drawing stays on the screen as an image.
• Perfect for police briefings, heist planning, classrooms, EMS training and business meetings.

PDF presentations

• Upload a PDF of up to 30 pages and move through it page by page, in sync for everyone.
• Pages are rendered in the player's browser: no extra load on your server.
• Made for roleplay: court hearings, city council, job interviews, company pitches.

Two ways to create a screen

• From a prop: aim with ox_target, pick "Register surface", trace the real screen inside the frame, done.
• On any wall: type /xss_create_surface, click two corners, rotate with Q and E, set the depth with the mouse wheel. Works on sloped and rotated surfaces too.
• Screens from 30 cm up to 15 m per side, up to 500 screens per server.

Groups, roles and permissions

• Every screen belongs to a group. Every group has an Owner role and as many custom roles as you want.
• 11 permissions: open, power, rename, volume, images, video, board, presentation, manage roles, add members, remove members.
• Members are characters, not accounts: multicharacter servers work out of the box.
• Owners manage their own people from the screen menu. Nobody can grant a permission they don't have.
• The server checks every action: a switched-off feature can't be reached from a modified client.

Admin panel

• Open with F7 or /xss_admin: every screen of the server with search, sorting and pagination.
• Teleport to a screen, turn it on or off, disable it, rename it, change its features, delete it.
• Manage groups, roles and online players from the same panel.
• Admins by ACE, by identifier list, or both. A separate permission for builders who create screens but aren't admins.

• Rate limits on every action and protection against duplicated requests.
• Uploads checked on the server by real file content, not by extension.

Requirements

No Node.js needed: the interface ships already built. Installation takes five minutes: copy the folder, run one SQL file, add a few lines to server.cfg.
